LINE AND SHAPE
PATTERN AND TEXTURE
All of my photos are from a close distance because I really wanted to capture the details in the subjects. The picture with the rain drops on the window was taken up close with little zooming in. Not all of my photos follow the rule of thirds because I believe that some of my pictures look better when the subject is the center of attention such as the first flower or the flower bud. A picture of mine that is overexposed is the one of the dandy lion. The grass has many white highlights and the areas between them are relatively dark. A picture of mine that may be underexposed is the one of the dark flower with white tips. The center of the flower is very dark along with the upper righthand corner. I believe that the image that is the best example of a properly exposed photo, is the one of the wet morning glory. The white flower pops with the dark contrast of the leaves in the back with a nice view of the texture/pattern that is on the front leaf.
